Very decent atmospheric black metal album. The shining star of this album is the closing epic, “Whispering From Space.” The opening track “Rupture” is also quite solid. The rest of the songs are fine but feel a bit one noted to me. Also songs 4 and 6 are short instrumental fillers which I feel take some of the body out of the album. Overall enjoyable though and would easily recommend. 7/10
Favorite track: Whispering From Space.
This young man is a real up and coming force in black metal. His stuff reminds me of The Ruins of Beverast; this is just about as high of a complement as I can give a project, as I consider Ruins to have almost perfected what black metal should sound like. Grandiose and gross (love that vomiting sample); Cthulhu's black metal band. Matthew Arnold
